I live only a few blocks from campus.
One day we had a big snow and it was on a two hour delay. (In
theory its so the streets can be plowed, sidewalks on campus cleared, etc). It was a wet, slick mess out there.
I rode my bike and people exclaimed "You rode your bike in that?"
I replied Well I wasn't about to walk through all the snow and ice. :)
