The Display File field is not a header, its a file that contains
whatever you want that is displayed first before listing files in the base. It could give instructions etc. I suppose you could try to use
it as a header though.
Hmmm, ok ... well I use it as a header ;) - I found the problem why it was not working, the name in the field and filename must be in caps (Linux) and the extension in lower case .....
The actual header is either in the prompts editor for the standard file listing or the template file for the full screen file listing.
Yeah, but I want to show a unique header in every file area.
But it is working now except for 1 thing. If I don't add a pause at the end of the file (header) it's not visible for user. That means, the file lister doesn't add the number of lines of the header to the file listing length. So in my case (24x80) the first page should be 5 (header) + 1 (actual file list header) + 18 (listing+prompt). But its 5 + 1 + 23 .... I am using the normal file list type ;)
Greets!
... When all else fails, read the instructions
