The Canadian company Bombardier has lost its license to sell aircraft in the US. This is the next step in the conflict between the US and Canada. According to Trump, Canada is being too slow in granting sales licenses to the American company Gulfstream. Trump is therefore now threatening to impose a 50% tariff on all aircraft built in Canada. The Airbus A220 is an aircraft built in Canada.
