    A wet and breezy day for Connemara with rain spreading across all areas during the morning, turning heavier and more persistent through the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to reach 8-9?C in most locations, though feeling colder in the strengthening southwesterly winds which will gust 35-50 kph, locally higher along western coasts. Cloud cover will be dense overcast throughout the day with very little brightness. Rainfall totals of 10-25mm are expected, with the highest amounts in western and northern parts of the region.

    The evening and night will see rain continuing but gradually becoming lighter and more intermittent. Winds will remain breezy from the southwest before slowly easing overnight. Low temperatures of 5-7?C with very high humidity and patchy light fog developing in some sheltered areas after midnight. Conditions will remain cloudy with dense overcast persisting through the night.

    Thursday brings breezy westerly winds and a mix of cloud with scattered showers across Connemara. The morning will see mostly cloudy skies with rain showers most likely along western coastal areas and the offshore islands, where 40 percent precipitation chances are forecast. Afternoon conditions improve somewhat as cloud breaks develop, particularly inland, though showers remain possible anywhere. Temperatures will reach 17 to 22?C, coolest on exposed coasts and warmest in sheltered eastern valleys.
