Do you ever want to take a nap and
not want to take a nap?

Absolutely! Some days I'm so tired I feel like I need a nap but have other things to do and don't actually want to nap.

    You need a nappucino. Drink a coffee/espresso/capuccino, then take a 20
minute nap. You wake up, the caffeine is in your bloodstream, and Zang!
    It's off you go!

Yes but if I have time in those instances I usually try to take at least a 20 or 30 minute nap. I find that if I am that indecisive about it, that probably means I need one. ;)

There are many times when I'd like to already be asleep, but not being willing to take the time to get there.

Post-covid, I have occasional periods in the late afternoon where I can
barely keep my eyes open and need to take a 20 minute nap. Then again,
I did turn 60, so that could be playing a part.

I would like to sleepy and not sleepy constantly. It is a harpy upon me sometimes when I am interrupted by bodily necessities. Woe, la, woe. It interrupts speedy trains of thought.
