I kinda think BBSes nowadays are a great place to create YOUR door to
the BBS world; if yer connected with a term program, you get all the features of that term program even if you call out to other BBSes; so a
lot of my BBS is just where *I* access the rest of the community FROM. I built it for me... and now some folks find use in it for THEM. :P

Maybe g00r00 could add something similar to Mystic, something that is a framework that could interface directly with bind.

The "stock community" isn't all that bad though. Some (maybe a lot) of people get satisfaction from just getting their BBS to function, but
then they go on vacation and never get back to it.
