As someone who was born in the mid 70s and grew up in the 80s, the Stranger Things universe brings back great memories of Radio Shack
walkie talkies, arcades, great music and regrettable fashion choices.
Personally I think the series as a whole is a fitting homage to Steven Spielberg and his classic run on Movies from the 80s.
Easily one of the greatest shows of our time, one that really put streaming content on the map.
Agree with all of the above. I was born in 79 so missed experiencing the 70s but Stranger Things is one of the few shows of recent times that
truly captures the 80s. You can see it in the homes with the walls,
carpet and furniture. Things I completely forgot about until seeing
again on that show.
I have not started season 3 yet -- I am think I am halfway through
Season 2 of DARK and I just need to finish that first before putting my focus and attention on Stranger Things. Which BTW holy crap every
episode something drastically new is discovered in DARK -- especially
this second season.
