It took about a month total to get it all together. How I got him to respond to my application a couple of weeks ago was logging onto his BBS and sending him messages, I do not believe he answers netmail. Give that a try. He asked me to be a hub as well.

I signed up a couple weeks ago on the HQ BBS and was wondering if/when I
should follow up--sounds like it's kind of necessary :)

Honestly I would sign on to dreamland and send him a note as a reminder... I had to several times. If you sign on late evenings you may even catch him
with a page...

Yes it turned out he had given me the wrong node number assignment..<VBG> Im just glad it is sorted out, was a lot of work that could have been solved a
lot quicker, but its done..
