I would really like to get my hands on a few other British Micros and a Commodore 128D. If anyone has a line on anything like that hit me up.
That HHC is like a super 'roided up calculator! intense that's for suWith BASIC too. That might be the thing I end up playing with the most!
Where I am now I don't really have room, though my wife bought me a
TRS-80 MC-10 for our anniversary. The only other 8 bit computers I have are the RC2014 style ones I built.
Nice system...but just wonder if the UK ZX-81 would appreciate more in value?
Ever found one of the German Commodore's? If I remember right...they had
a different color of case &/or keys. Would love to get 1 of those
Amiga's which were sitting in an Indian warehouse since Commodore went
out of business.
Had to take a look in Google for this. The name wasn't familiar...but
when I saw the image...I remember them. Are they more rare than the C-65
& such?

Can't remember who it was I saw talk about that...but when his dad
brought it home...he was so happy.

Yonn Beeta. Our old BBS friend Cyan is a fan of his. I remember him watching a b unch of that guy's videos last time I saw him.
How is Randy?
Haven't heard from him recently, but the last time we spoke he seemed to be doin g well enough, same as usual.
teenager at Braum's Ice Cream (regional chain in the Bible Noose). NeBraum's is great. I had a good drunken meal there during my one visit to Oklahoma.

On 3.2 beer??? ;) Used to know the Braum's back in the day working out
of the Oklahoma City plant at 63rd & Bryant back in the late 70's. First time I was fired because I couldn't do the drive from there to Shawnee several days a week where I was going to college at the time.

My visit to OKC involved a trip to the Waffle House nearest the airport, then to a liquor store down the street, and then I left town. Spent the night at a campground near Choctaw. The Braum's I went to was somewhere
on the edge of Guthrie.

what I am really excited about is the Sinclair 1000. I have always
wanted to dip my toes into the British micros, great way to start.
You should try and snag a BBC Micro Model B. These were very expanable with 32K rather thasn 16K the Model A came with and it was before the
BBC Master. If you want some ARM technology there's the Acorn Archimedes and even before the BBC Micro was the Acorn Atom and Acorn Electron. The BBC Micro and Mastero were also made by Acorn.
For the Spectrum I can't say I've heard of the 1000 but if you're going retro, ZX Spectrum is the way to go and if you want the cheapest of cheap then ZX81 (or even ZX80) they came as kits or prebuilt. The ZX81 had 1K
of memory and touch pads. You could get the 16K ram pack which many of
us ended up using sticky tape to stop it wabbing and disrupting an enthralling game of Mazogs!
The friend whose wedding I was attending works at the university in Stillwater and has done for many years. We met because he needed to test
I was in the broadcasting department from 85-December of 86 when I graduated.
Was he there at the same time I & Garth Brooks was?
Was he there at the same time I & Garth Brooks was?Assuredly not. He was probably an infant around then.

Apart from the BBC I also want to snag an Amstrad CPC. That super long ass keyboard with the built in dataset just looks awesome.
First computer I used was a Video Genie, pretty much a TRS-80 clone from the outside. It had a built in tape deck. Always worried me what
happened if it went bad, would you have to replace the whole system? I seem to remember I liked the keyboard on that.
I had a Trash-80 when I was a kind, I think it was my first machine, or
it might have been the CoCo, I don't remember any more what came first.
Trash-80 came first and the Model 1 was the first machine I ever really "experienced" twas absolute joy to play Robot Attack (Berzerk clone) and there was a kids game that I only knew as Same/Different and it just showed you two things on the screen and you had to press a key that indicated same or differnt. It was played so much that we had stickers
on the keyboard with a smiley face and a frowny face so we knew what to press. :D
So glad I have both those machines again :)
I am looking for both the TRS-80 and the CoCo to add to my collection.
If you know anyone, the 4 hour drive to Ottawa is worth it. Plus, I tend to head up there often for work. We must grab a beer or some Chicken and Waffles at that place downtown I love.
Sure I'll keep my eyes and ears open for ya! Yes indeed we should! Let me know when you're coming up my way. Is that place you speak of the Heart & Crown on Preston?

I had a Trash 80 when I was a kid - still have it :)
